ALA is a master antioxidant that when combined with High Vitamin C maximizes packs a punch against cancer.
Antioxidants are compounds that attack unstable molecules called free radicals, which are created when your body turns food into energy. Having too many free radicals and too few antioxidants in your body causes chemical reactions that damage cells, organs, and tissues. This is called oxidative stress.
Its antioxidant benefits are why ALA helps with conditions that involve oxidative stress, such as diabetic or chemo related nerve pain (neuropathy).

High Vitamin C (HVC) is a therapeutic option that must be handled delicately.
Before your first HVC drip, we require a G6PD value (blood test). G6PD is an enzyme that protects red blood cells from damage. When given more than 10 gms of Vit C, it can cause red blood cell death, especially in people with G6PD deficiency. This test is only needed once in a lifetime.
Also, we will not start you out at 50 g of Vit C. We will gradually get you there. We start with 25 g and if you tolerate that well, we move to 40 g and then 50 g.
